Harry Mason passed away at the St. Joseph’s Hospital, Toronto in his 75th year. Born to Harry and Mabel (Banks) Mason and raised in the ancestral home in the historic Village of Markham; during the bygone era of playing hockey outdoors in winter and baseball in summer, until the streetlights came on. A signal for all kids to go home.

In later years cycling and gym workouts competed for his attention with his intense interests in art, literature, history, ballet, theology and philanthropy. Dominating all interests was his strong Christian faith which he demonstrated through his love and compassion for others.
