What John meant to me
John, my eldest cousin who I looked up to. I loved his old cars and when he would take me for a drive.
John, my boss at the store. I never worked so hard and had so much fun all at the same time. He was so generous with his time, always had a young person to mentor and I was so lucky to be one of them.
John, my teacher. He taught me so much about business - always trying new things and how to take such great care of customers.
John has touched my life in so many wonderful ways and he will forever be in my heart.
Rest In Peace John.
Your cousin Caroline

John walks with the Angels.
I recall, when visiting his shop in Markham, how helpful and pleasant he was. His smile lit up the room.
I also appreciated that John would have young people working in the store, thus giving them an opportunity to learn and feel good about themselves.
As well, he was extremely kind and generous to the Markham Lions Club, which I and all the members are grateful for.
Blessings upon John, his loving family and dear friends.

Absolutely a great guy growing up on Water Street and Lincoln Green Drive . Our family are great friends with the Leadbetters and Johnny was just a great positive person. Always had a smile on his face. A great storyteller , and would always go the extra mile for you. Met Johnny a couple years ago at my mothers and it was like the conversation just continued on from when we were 10 years old. He had great stories to tell about my father , Johns father and what they were up to. Johnny you will be missed ! You were one of a kind. Jerry and Nancy Arnold
