Phillip Quinlan

Obituary of Phillip Andrew Quinlan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phillip on November 5th, 2019.  Phillip will be profoundly missed by his dad, Robert, brothers, Anthony and Richard, sisters-in-law Evelyn and Dorothy, his niece Lucie, his cousins, family and friends.

Phillip was born in Edmonton, Alberta, then grew up in Kingston, Sarnia and Montreal. He attended St. Lawrence College in Cornwall, then moved to Markham, Ontario where he worked as a mechanic for Canadian Tire for the bulk of his career.

Phillip was always generous in spirit and deed. He was a ‘car guy,’ loved music, loved the outdoors, especially lakes and mountains, loved games and loved to laugh. His crooked smile will be really, really missed, now and forever.

A Funeral mass will be held at St Patrick’s Church (5633 Hwy 7, Markham, ON) on Monday, November 11th, 2019 at 10 am with a burial to follow at Christ the King Cemetery (7770 Steeles Avenue East, Markham, ON).

In lieu of flowers, we would ask that donations be made to St. Patrick’s Parish, Markham or Community Living York South at https://www.communitylivingyorksouth.ca.
