Barbara will be deeply missed. Her smile, her laugh, the love she showed to all of us, will never be forgotten.
Barbara and I shared not only the same birthday, but also a deep and enduring love for her son, Ian. I'll miss hearing her "Oh Ian!" chuckle when he teased her and her "Love you, darling!" whenever we had to leave. She always had a hug and kiss and a kind word.
I remember the first time she welcomed me into her home in the early '80s when I was soaking wet and freezing after a long ride on Ian's motorcycle to get home for Thanksgiving. She was as lovely that day as when I last saw her, still asking about my well being and showering her children with affection.
Rest in Peace Barbara. Please know that your lovely soul lives on in your loving children, Alison and Ian.
