I too am saddened to hear of your mom's passing. I just read the notice in the local paper or I would have attended today's service.
We were teaching colleagues at Markville Secondary School for many years. I would bring her a doughnut on Fridays! She was an understanding, patient and wonderful educator and was adored by her students.
Her MS affliction slowed her down but never stopped her from staying in touch with her friends. She always spoke with pride and joy about her kids and grand-kids.
I only have wonderful memories.

Dave, Rob and Kathy. As you know, I met your Mom when I was only 22 years old and we remained friends all these years. Even if we didn’t speak all the time we had such a deep rooted connection. We spoke at length just a few weeks ago and I will cherish that conversation. You mother handled her adversities with the utmost grace and courage. Never ever complained. I have never met anyone else like her and I will miss her deeply. She so loved and was immensely proud of all of you. May her memories forever be a blessing to you and to those of us who loved her.

Dear Jack and Family,
I was so saddened by the loss of your mom, a wonderful, strong, cheerful, determined, and most of all loving woman who was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
Unfortunately I cannot attend the service as I have a group mini vacation already booked. I will be there in spirit and love for you all. We will toast to her memory and the end of her struggles when we next are together. Much Love, Diane

I will always remember Chris' kindness and wisdom in welcoming me as her new neighbor, when I moved back to Markham. Good people know good people, and we were excited to learn that we already shared friends in common. She touched the lives and hearts of many. Rest peacefully now our dear Chris.

What a beautiful photo of Chris! We will miss her so very much. She has been a friend since her first year of teaching at Central Peel Secondary in Brampton ON.
We have spent holidays together at Presqu'ile and in Barbados. We have been there for her children's and our child's good times.
From Delmark to 16th Ave. we've followed her.
Even with her MS she had spunk and a sense of humour. She always had a way of making you feel welcome and appreciated.
Sleep well, my friend!
