So sorry to hear the news of Peter's passing. Many fond memories of spending time with Uncle Peter at Christmas and at his home in Ontario. A wise and clever man from whom I learnt a lot. Condolences to all of his family from Malcolm G England (Nephew), Valda B England (Sister-In-Law), and Vera Parker (Sister-In-Law).

Maura and Ted Thoday posted a condolence
Monday, October 14, 2019
Peter and Ted first met some seventy years ago during their early service in the Royal Navy, over the years their RN commitments occasionally brought them briefly together.
In the early 1960s Ted’s RN service saw him in London, where he met and subsequently married Maura. Ted also met Valda and he and Maura became firm friends with Valda and her family.
Peter’s financial advice was critical in convincing us that we could afford to purchase a newly built house.
After leaving the Royal Navy, Peter and Valda emigrated to Canada and Ted and Maura moved to Australia.
We were deeply saddened to learn of Valda’s illness and eventually passing.
We were more than pleased when we learned that Peter had met and married Sylvia
Despite the distance we maintained our friendship. We will miss the email exchanges.
We send our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to Sylvia, his daughters and their respective families and to Peter’s many friends.
Maura and Ted Thoday

Dear Sylvia & family,
When I was initially elected to the Board of Directors at the Seniors Club, Peter was our President. I adopted Peter as my mentor during those formative first couple of years and this relationship continued after I replaced him as President. I sought his advice, counsel & guidance on numerous occasions. I shall miss his cherry disposition, his jokes & his upbeat personality. Rest in peace my dear friend.
