Obituary of Norma Jessie Aikins

AIKINS, Norma (nee Allan) –

Passed away peacefully with her sons close by on August 6^th 2019 at Bethany Lodge at the age of 94. Predeceased by her husband Edward Joseph. Loving mother of Steve (Joan) and Gord Aikins. Beloved grandmother of Christopher and Meaghan. Norma was an avid traveller with a passport that looked like the Rolling Stones on tour. She will be remembered for her love of animals as she generously donated to animal welfare charities.  Family and friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street North (Markham Rd.) Markham on Saturday August 10^th 2019 at 1:30pm until time of the Funeral Service at 2pm. Burial to follow at Bethesda Lutheran Cemetery. All are welcome to the reception at the funeral home following the burial. Donations made to the OSPCA would be appreciated by the family.
