Obituary of Gordon Chung-Hoi Wong

It is with great sadness to announce that Gord Wong passed away peacefully in his sleep at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 58 years young. He will be so incredibly missed by his wife Deb, daughter Emma, Winnie the puppy, brothers Michael and Patrick, parents Ngai-Man and Suklan, the rest of his extended family and friends, and his second family at the Toronto Police Service. In keeping with Gord’s wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 614 located at 100 Salome Dr, Scarborough ON, M1S 2A8 from 1pm to close. We are asking that everyone dress casual in any colour(s) you would like. There will be a cash bar and snacks available as well. In addition, if you ride a motorcycle and are able to ride it there that day, please park it outside the hall with Gord’s beloved blue Victory. Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Cancer Clinic, Medicine/Oncology Inpatient Unit, Chemotherapy Clinic, and Palliative Care Unit. In lieu of flowers, Gord wished for donations to be made to Markham Stouffville Hospital at www.mshf.on.ca.
