I'm sending heartfelt condolences to the family of George Morgan. Only having met George once, it was a pleasure to meet the Dad of my friend Lea, and also to meet his lovely wife and Lea's Sister Linda. Peace be with you all during this most difficult and sad time.
love,
Sami

We are saddened to hear of Mr Morgan’s passing. I have wonderful memories of being offered a “pop” from the fridge in the boathouse and always being welcomed at the Morgan cottage.

I met George later in life and loved to hear him talk about his life, he always had great stories. Over the years that I was able to spend time with George he set an example for me on just how a person, father and husband should behave and carry himself, it is a high water mark that will be difficult for most of us to achieve. He was a gentle, generous and loving man focused on his family, he always wanted everyone to be happy and free of worry so he often kept us smiling with his great sense of humor. It is hard to believe he has gone and my heart goes out to Nancy, Linda, Lea, Dorothy and Rick I wish I were there in person to hug you all.
With all my love Doug

Papa George's sense of humour enriched everyone's day. I cherished the visits we had as a family, and he was always ready with a smile and a hug for us. I feel so grateful to have such wonderful memories of going to the cottage, eating dinners together and playing cards, telling stories... I am so blessed to have such amazing people in my life.
On a side note, I truly believe that dogs are a great judge of character, and they certainly loved being around him.
To family members who read this, I love you all so much and wish you the best. I am thinking of you all.

George will be missed deeply. We loved him for so many reasons. His generous heart, caring spirit, and amazing sense of humor. He was an amazing person and a great role model. We are so fortunate that we were able to get to know him and spend so many family gatherings together. I am very proud to be his granddaughter and part of this incredible family that he had a hand in forming.
