It was my privilege to work closely with Pete for about 15 years from the late 1980’s to the early 2000’s. I can honestly say he was the best engineer I ever saw. Practical, creative solutions were his specialty. He will be missed

Oh how sad. Another member of the family gone. It was good to see him banter with Stewart Annand in the past few years. Pete is at rest. Love to all of you.

To the Sulman family.
Saddened to hear of the loss of my Uncle Pete. He was a good man. Always had time and patience for us as kids either on the boats or at the cottage. He was a true gentleman. Will keep the memories with me.
At this difficult time, try to be kind to each other , as both your parents were to our family.
Thoughts and prayers
Ray

Pete was one hell of a guy. I am sure the red hair was a symbol of the flame that burned inside him and made him go 100% at everything he did. I knew him through sailing and many times watched the transom of his boat pass me by.
Pete, I am not there yet but save me a spot on your Lightning when we race again

Pete was a great guy. I got to know him through the Lightning Class and he was a wonderful supporter of all things sailing.
Always helpful and positive.
I will miss him.
My condolences to the family.
