RUNZA, Antonino “Pippo”

After a long courageous battle, Pippo passed away peacefully surrounded by his family just after midnight on April 24^th, 2019 at the age of 74. Beloved husband to Carmela for 49 years. Loving Dad to Angela (Gino Forestieri) and Maria (Domenic Dilallo). Cherished Nonno to Claudio, Adriana, Dani, and Joey. Adored brother of Mariella and Tina and their families in Sicily. He will always be remembered for his strength, love for his family, and his passion for life. Family and Friends will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. N. (Markham Rd.) on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 5-9pm. A second visitation will take place the following day, Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 10am with a Funeral Mass to follow in the Dixon-Garland Chapel at 11am. Pippo's wish was to be cremated. In lieu of flowers the family would most appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
