I offer my condolences. I will always remember Len Sauer as the good neighbour we had next door. I have often thought of the time when he took my dad and I for a ride in his white Mustang over to the old Dominion plaza in Markham. I was about 10 and I couldn't pull myself forward in the back seat to where we were going as he accelerated.

Len and I had agreed to play a game of chess with each other some day. We never got to it and I am sorry. It is too late now. I always felt a special bond and understanding with Len as a fellow immigrant from Europe. I admired his ability to enjoy life, his brave courage and dignity to carry on with his life after becoming partially disabled.
My and Linda’s condolences go to all those he loved and who loved him

As our best neighbour and friend, we spent enjoyable family time together even after leaving Markham in the seventies. For many years we stayed with Len and Jean while attending the Queen’s Plate and playing cards with boisterous laughter. Our children played together and later joinied together in business partnerships. Our family ties are deep. Good bye old friend.
Aubrey Elaine and family.

Len was a very dear family friend of ours. Len, Jean, Joan and Vern Warriner spent many happy times together in Markham. I remember my dad and Len building sail boats in our garage. We also spent many sunny days at Musselman's Lake together. Len was a wonderful gentle soul. He will be fondly missed.
