Obituary of Norma Kathleen Steckley

Norma Kathleen Steckley  - July 8, 1942 – April 6, 2019

Born on a farm near Stouffville, Norma attended the local one-room rural school and Stouffville District High School.  Some of her adult years were spent as a dental assistant.  Norma was the youngest of 4 girls and is predeceased by her parents Nettie & Norman Steckley as well as predeceased by sisters June & Lorraine.  She is survived by her sister Dorie Pilkey and husband Eric, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.  As an accomplished musician, Norma participated in church worship services from a young age, and later accompanied a male gospel quartet.  Since November 2018, Norma spent her remaining months in Markhaven, where she was happy and given wonderful  attention by all the staff.  Eric & Dorie were able to do frequent visits and enjoyed much time with her.  God has taken her home to dwell with him and to be reunited with other Christians who have gone before.
