We would like to offer our condolences to Sylvia's family.
Sylvia was one of the first people to welcome us when we moved to Bamber Court 25 years ago and we continued to be good neighbours ever since. We have fond memories of Sylvia out in her garden or cutting her grass, always eager to talk. We loved her stories of her fabulous travels and we also remember Sylvia as a compassionate caregiver to both Charlie and Archie.
Sylvia, may you rest in peace.
Donna and David

Our sincere sympathy to Karen, Deiter and Family. We are greatly saddened to hear of Sylvia's passing. A dear, dear friend to our parents - Iris and Art - Sylvia was like no other in her warmth and loving spirit. Always involved and interested, Sylvia lived with an active grace that was inspiring. She was so very proud of all of you.

So saddened to hear of Sylvia's passing. Have known her for many years initially through the Widows and Widowers Club, but developed into a personal friendship. My condolences to her family and to Archie. While I am now resident in Thunder Bay my thoughts will be with you on Friday.

I loved the friendship which grew with your Mum Karen after two amazing trips to Canada and Sylvia so kindly taking us everywhere. She was so good at keeping in touch via email and I enjoyed hearing what she’d been up to and jealous of all her travelling! I’m around half her age and yet I could’ve talked to her about anything and she was up for going anywhere. I’ll cherish those times of laughter and fun together.
So sad to hear of her illness and passing.
Love and God Bless.

I send my condolences to Sylvia's family. I enjoyed my chats and visits with Sylvia over the many years we have been neighbours on the same street. In the past few years as I have gotten to know Sylvia much better, I have been inspired by her energy and busy social schedule. She was certainly a woman who enjoyed her friends and activities. I will think of her often.

Your mom always impressed me with her strength, independence, and passion for life. I’ll remember her strong spirit, her fierce commitment to her family, and our great conversations – about life, aging, friendships, and more. Sylvia, you’re loved and you’ll be missed.

Such sad news. Sylvia was a very kind, caring and stylish Lady. We have known her for many, many years, she always had kinds words to share. Some years ago, when taking dace lessons, Sylvia and her partner took lessons as well. Age was just a number to her but not a restriction of what she could or could not do. I also admired that Sylvia was always impeccably dressed and made up. We will miss her. Her house will always be Sylvia's home. We are thinking of her family and hope that all the wonderful memories they hold dear will help them through this time of sadness. Rosti and Martina
