Unfortunately, we were vacationing when we heard and shocked at Michael's passing.
I have had the pleasure of dealing with Michael a couple of times a year as we would commiserate about the Leafs. Both my sons, Mark and Rob worked with Michael as summer students and have expressed their shock as well.

Connecting with Mike was always a highlight of every visit with House of Electrical. His infectious laugh and ear-to-ear smile will be profoundly missed. Even though he is no longer with us he will always hold a special place in our hearts. I will forever remember our chats and laughs together.

Whether Mikey Mike was trying to get me to climb to the top of the mountain in Jasper, try crazy things in restaurants or trying to make me seasick on a salmon charter in the Pacific Ocean, it was ALWAYS memorable when I was with Mike, and we shared so many laughs. Our IED trips that criss-crossed the country, lent for an always interesting backdrop to many stories and laughter. Mike was always even keeled, calm, cool and collected. In good fun and good times, we came together in acknowledgement of our hard work collectively as independents, and our strong family businesses were celebrated. It is with deep sadness that I send our support to the gang at House, from the gang at Gimpel Electric. We are all so very sorry for the loss of Mikey Mike. When he asked how you were doing or how you week was going it was to actually know how you were doing, and if their was anything he could help out with he wouldn't ask you he would just do it, that was the type of man he was . Hi Folks,
This is Niall’s son, John. I’m sorry to hear about Michael. He was a very nice lad according to my brothers. It’s a shame we never not got to meet.
Even though these are hard-times, we must look at the positives. From what I’ve been told, Michael brought a lot of joy and happiness in to other people’s lives and was a real gentleman. Hard to ask for more.
Take care and keep the chin up. I will try to visit this Christmas if you guys are around.

Sincere condolences to all family and close friends. I was lucky enough to be a small part of Mikes life and like many of those small parts, they involved lots of laughs. I lived with Mike for a few years in Unionville and some of my greatest memories involve Big Daddy! Sars concert, the blackout, the move in all amazing stories that I will remember. I’m gonna miss him.

So sorry for your loss. I have many great memories with Mike growing up. He left us way to soon.
Remembering a story my mom reminded me of just a few weeks ago.... Mrs Brennan and my mom took Mike and I to a tourney in the USA, they told us we are spending the weekend if we could actually stay in the game. Game one..... I get thrown out and not 5 min later Mike did too. Our moms had to turn around and drive us home.
