Dear Keith and Family
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family on Helen's unexpected passing. Over the years, when my daughter-in-law, Dawn, spoke of her Mom...the picture I got was that Helen was such an upbeat, vibrant person who enjoyed her family, friends, curling and golf. I was always amazed by her energy - Helen enjoyed life to the fullest - it was a life well-loved.
I am wishing you peace, strength and comfort in the days ahead - she will be missed. God Bless.
Pat Humphrey
(p.s. A donation has been made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Helen's memory via mail.)

Dear Keith and Family: Don and I were saddened to learn of Helen's unexpected passing. Helen was always a shining light whenever I saw her out walking or at the Golf Club! She was a fierce competitor and it was a pleasure to see that this did not diminish as she got older. We will miss her greatly. Our sympathies go out to you all.

Dear Jewett Family,
So very sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. I met Helen through the Nine Hole Ladies Section at York Downs and was always happy to be assigned to the same foursome. She was a real inspiration in so many ways....both physically and mentally and I so enjoyed hearing about her accomplishments on the "world stage" of curling. She impressed me with her thoughtful, wise contribution to any conversation.
I, along with many others, will miss her company at York Downs.

My deepest condolences to the family.
Mrs. Jewett was a lovely lady, graceful and kind. My fond memory is being allowed to swim in the pool while she watched us.
Forever grateful. Thankyou.

My deepest sympathies on the passing of Mrs Jewett.
I have wonderful memories growing up and a lot of them include the generous hospitality of the Jewett family.
Summers wouldn’t have been the same without fun neighbourhood times in the swimming pool.
Remembering once when Karen and I made orange juice with hot water just for fun. Mrs Jewett made us drink it all. Lol
And Sleepovers with Karen and Dawn in the parents bedroom. The large window looking over the lights of Markham. I always thought it was New York City.
Good times.
Rest In Peace Mrs Jewett xox
