It is with great sadness that I write this condolence to Lachlan and family. I was devastated to hear about Mrs. Cattanach's passing... Lachlan was my mother and father's lawyer for many, many years.... They were also great friends.... I have been meeting with Lachlan for the past 2 1/2 years since the passing of my mother at 94 years of age..... I did not have the privilege of meeting Isabelle but I know she must have been a wonderful lady..... My sincere condolences to Lachlan and his family at this difficult time... Dear Lachlan & Family, How saddened I am today on the sudden loss of your wife & Mother. Isabelle played bridge 4 decades ago in Markham with my Mother, Ena Sinden. My Mother passed in 1971 following my wedding at which your parents attended that same year. Isabelle & Mom shared great times during their time together. Sunnybrook is a wonderful place to be, when one needs care. Most of my specialists are there. I recall Rory your name as you were a little boy then. How blessed your Mother was to have time to share with her grandchildren. May God give you all peace in the daysahead. Sincerely, Barbara Sinden

I was so sad to hear of Isabelle's passing. My heart goes out to Lachlan and family. Iasabelle and Lachlan would come to Collingwood to visit friends and would always take time to visit with me (cousin) When we were kids she needed golf clubs and I needed a bike...so my dad made a deal with her...he would give her his clubs and she would give me her bike.....I hope she loved those clubs as much as I loved her bike.
