I am so sorry to hear of Douglas’s passing. I worked with Marjorie at Scarborough General Hospital as summer student the year that she and Douglas met. It was a fairy tale romance and it obviously continued for the next 45 years. What a wonderful legacy for Douglas to have left all these children and grandchildren behind to follow in his footsteps and cherish his memory. My love to you all, Catherine Low, Ottawa

Dear Marjorie and family - We are saddened to hear about the passing of our friend and colleague Doug. His reputation as a skilled and caring anesthetist was second to none and the countless patients that he watched over during surgery were fortunate to have such a fine physician. We always enjoyed our times together at SGH galas and other social and professional occasions. He will be fondly remembered. Much love, Peter and Sisi.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Douglas, (Mr. Hunter) as we have called him for the past 26 years. We will miss seeing him pass by our house on his daily walks to the park, with his makeshift cane and wearing his Tilley hat. We could not have had a kinder or more caring neighbour.
Our condolences to you Marjorie, Thora, Margaret, Dianna and Family. We will truly miss Douglas.
Love, Mary, Brian, Sydney, Morgan and Courtney.

Our condolences to Marjorie and Family.
We have known Douglas during many years of association at Scarborough General Hospital and socially. He was a well respected Anaesthesiologist. Douglas and Norbert cared for many sick patients together.
We have fond memories of Douglas even from the days when he drove a Corvette
