It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron in his 87^th year at Markham Stouffville Hospital on December 28, 2018 with his family by his side. Beloved husband of 62 years to Georgia Lawrence. Dear father of Gail (David Sweeney) and Allan. Cherished and loved Grandpa of Ian, Meaghan, Jason and Devyn. Brother of Fred and the late Howard. A Visitation will be held at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. N. (Markham Rd.), on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11 am. A Memorial Service will take place in the Chapel at 12pm, followed by a reception. No flowers please. Donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
