Obituary of Michael Winokur

WINOKUR Michael –

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Wednesday Decemeber 26th at the age of 71. Beloved husband to Yanping for 19 years.  Devoted father to Jason (Lori), Justin (Carmela), and Rachel (Felix).  Adoring step father to Mi Xiang and Tina. Cherished grandpa to Brayden and Emma, Preston and Jackson, and Maddox and Ariel.  Brother to Greg Winokur. Loving son of the late Henry and Nadya Winokur. Michael will be dearly missed for his big heart, charismatic nature and undeniable devotion to his family and friends by his many loved ones. Family and friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street North (Markham Rd), Markham, on Saturday January 5^th from 12pm until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 2pm. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. If desired donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
