Obituary of Garry Robert Harding

HARDING, Garry Robert

April 30, 1935 – December 21, 2018

Passed away peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband of Antonia for 54 years. Caring father of Matthew (Janice), Paula, and Katie and grandfather to Jessica, TJ, Mandy, David, Chantal, Michael, and Elizabeth, and great-grandfather of Ella, Dakota, and Alivia. Predeceased by his parents, Marion and Lewis, and brother Ray. Will be greatly missed by his friends and family. Dedicated history teacher at Stouffville District High School from 1963 – 1992. A special thank you to the care team in the palliative unit at Markham Stouffville Hospital. A visitation will be held at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. N. (Markham Rd.), on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 11:30 – 12:30pm. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ontario SPCA.
