Obituary of Elson Miles

March 4, 1929 – December 23, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elson Miles at Markham Stouffville Hospital, in his 90th year. Loving husband of Joyce for 64 years. Caring father of Norn (Jo Ann), Karen (Doug), Lynda (Dave) and predeceased by son Jim (2005). Loving grandfather of Brianna, Alex, Heather, and Madison. Brother of Dorothy Britton. Lifetime resident and cattle farmer of Markham, with a long involvement in community and volunteer activities. Council member of the Town of Markham for 12 years.  Major contributor to Markham Stouffville Hospital and Union Villa. A visitation will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church 143  Main St. N. (Markham Rd.), on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 11am – 1pm with a Memorial Service to following at 1pm. Donations may be made to Union Villa or Markham Stouffville Hospital.
