Hello, I just found out that Hank had passed away and wanted to express my sympathy. I worked with Hank at Monroe calculator in the late 60's and early 70's until I moved back to Nova Scotia. He was also one of my best buddies. I spent many evenings with Hank and our little group at the British pubs around Toronto and on our annual fishing trips at French River. This was the first time in 45 years that I didn't get a Christmas card from him and that concerned me. I did a Google search and found his obituary. The last time I saw Hank was around 10 years ago. He took a trip to the east coast & called me. I took him on a drive around Halifax. I will be in Toronto in June and was looking forward to seeing him again. Laurie Hubley

Dear Family of Henry (Hank), I wanted to tell you that Hank was a lovely man, with a wonderful sense of humor, a loving way about him, and I will miss him very much. Joe Smith is my ex-husband, but we keep in touch; we both have very fond memories of Hank, over the years, and that is a good way to remember him. I know this is heartbreaking for you, as a family, and I send my hugs to you all. Hank was very special, and the good memories will sustain us all through the hard times. My deepest sympathy to Ann and family. Dearest, sweet, sweet Henry was my brother, Bill's, best friend from early childhood.I have many fond memories of Henry lifting a glass at the Rose and Crown or drinking Blueberry Tea with my Mom at Easter at the cottage. Henry always had a smile on his face and kind words for everyone. Henry was a very dear close friend. He will be missed.
