Apparently God is in need of one more Angel. Your warmth and wisdom have carried us through many moments. You could always be counted on for telling it "straight".
Everywhere you were felt like Home. We will miss you and have only happy memories of the times we spent in your home with Uncle Bob, at your dinner table and in the pool.
To our favorite "Auntie Jan" , Gods Speed... Have a ton of fun with Bob And Marilyn
Much Love,
Alan and Jodi

We will always remember Jan as the warm, witty, classy woman she was. We knew her for a relatively short time but it was obvious how much she loved her family. Such a talented artist. We will miss her.

As the recipient of the aforementioned perfect rubber chicken, or at least one of them, I am honoured and blessed to have called Jan my friend. There are so many memories, her unique sense of humour, laughter around the dinner table, painting in the country, endless chats over coffee and lunch. I can truly say Jan was one of the most elegant ladies I have ever met with a generous smile that warmed every heart it touched. She was an exceptional, creative, loving soul and I will miss her deeply.
Duncan and I extend our deepest sympathies to the family and pray for courage and strength to see all of you through these difficult days. Always remember how much Jan loved each and every one of you and cherish your memories. Dunc and I will cherish ours. God speed, Jan. Cathy and Duncan Wilson

Jan was the best neighbour and friend a family could ever have. Always quick with the humourous viewpoint and so supportive of our children as they grew up. She inspired all of us in many ways. We still quote her often. She will be missed but never forgotten! Our condolences to the whole family.

Jan was an inspiration as an artist and a person. Her wry sense of humour always came through in her painting and collages in unexpected places.I will treasure the memories of the times we spent painting together. She will be missed by all of us who knew her.

We met her only on few occasions but remember her as a very pleasant lady , also you girls doing things together and having a good time with your mum. I always thought that was very nice . You girls were with her Thru her illness supporting her and I am pretty sure, your mum appreciated the care you all gave her . She was an elegant woman and you all resemble her in some ways. I knew Janet through our fun, creative times at The Markham Group of Artists in the 1980s and always felt how special, and warm she was. Her memory will always be in my heart and I wish the family safe passage through this time of change and sorrow. She left this Earth a much more interesting and enjoyable place to be!
Love, Ethelwyn

After 35 years of friendship there are too many memories and moments to list. I loved her sense of humor - Spring bulbs (lightbulbs) and tulips ( 2 wax lips) greeted members of the MGA at one workshop - the hunt for the perfect rubber chicken. I think you get the picture. I remember painting workshops and afternoons of collaging and the silly things we laughed about over lunches. I will miss my dear friend. I am so sorry for your loss, for our loss. - Judy
