Darke, Raymond George.

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday, July 17^th , 2018 after putting up a courageous battle. He had suffered a massive stroke in November 2013 leaving him paralyzed and wheelchair bound. Loving Husband of Sandy. Devoted Father of Peter ( Cynthia), Stephen (Laurie) and Jason. Caring Grandfather to Connor, Liam, Aidan, Avril, Alice and Cooper. Pre-deceased by sister, Ann.

Raymond graduated from McMaster University DeGroote School of Business with his MBA in 1979. He  had a successful professional career in Banking and Accounting. He retired from Scotiabank as Corporate Banking Senior Vice President, Managing Director and Head Strategic Planning and Marketing. He was actively involved with Certified Management Accountants- Chair of the Board-CMA Canada, President and Board Chair CMA Ontario, Member Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee, Canadian Depository for Securities, Member Business Advisory Committee, DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University-Founding Member, Advisory Council, University of Waterloo School of Accountancy. Canadian representative Professional Accountants Business Committee, International Federation of Accountants, Executive- in-residence DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University, Hamilton, Former Director and Chair Audit Committee, The Micronutrient Initiative, Ottawa.

And although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay,
