Obituary of Ida Degilio

DEGILIO, Ida (April 6, 1924 – August 23, 2018)

     Ida passed away peacefully at the Woodhaven LTC, Markham, with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Louis (deceased), devoted mother of Mary Anne (Bob), Brenda, Eloise (Dennis), proud Nonni of Lauren, Brian, Sarah and Jesse, and great-grandchild, Kaia.  She will be greatly missed by her beloved sister, Lina, several nieces and nephews, especially Sandra, Dennis (Gina) Comand and their children.

     Ida was truly one of a kind! She was loved by everyone who met her.  She had a generous heart, great sense of humour, humble nature, and was fervent in her Catholic faith.  Her family would like to extend special thanks to the caring staff at the Woodhaven LTC, especially the amazing Stouffville team, Dr. Peter Haw, and Pastoral Volunteer, Louise Mills. Ida’s funeral mass will take place on August 27, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church,(5633 Hwy. 7, Markham) A reception will follow at the Woodhaven LTC, 380 Church Street, Markham.
