Passed peacefully at her home in Brampton on Friday, July 20, 2018, age 75. She will be deeply missed by many friends and family. Beloved wife of Hugh, mother of Craig (Carol) and Alan (Colleen) and proud grandmother of eight grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother, John Houston, and will be remembered by her sister Barbara Hartley (Leigh), brother Lawrence Houston, sister-in-law Sharon Houston, and many nephews and nieces. A special thank you to Dr. Lobo, the palliative care team at Brameast Family Health, and to Nurse Tammy for their outstanding and compassionate care for Helen during these last months and weeks. Visitation will be held at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home,166 Main St. N. (Markham Rd.), Markham on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 5-8 pm. Memorial service at Markham Bible Chapel, 50 Cairns Dr., Markham on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11 am with a private internment being held beforehand. Condolences may be left at www.dixongarland.com.
