It still amazes me the parallels in Dave's life and my own; when we emigrated to Canada from the UK; our Boy's Brigade adventures; our early engineering jobs; our love of the football game; not to mention the sharing of being grandfathers to Nyla and Owen. He epitomised the Ulster Scot and was proud to display his Wallace tartan while playing the bagpipes - capped off by his beautiful Belfast brogue. Wonderful memories of the Botswana wedding, the Glasgow reception and Solange and Dave's visit to Victoria. The Cunningham's will miss you.

Davie has been a very caring and thoughtful brother, brother in law, uncle and great uncle. Although he relocated to Canada he always remained close to his family back in Northern Ireland. His passing is deeply regretted by the entire family cirlce, especially his brother Bobby who will miss their weekly phone calls.

My heart goes out to the Wallace family at this difficult time. David was an amazing gentlemen and taught me many things over the years I lived beside him, if it was chatting about soccer or reviewing the renovation activities it was always a pleasure to be in conversation with him. I'm very saddened to hear of his passing.
