PETTY, Dorothy Fern (nee Hockley)

Passed away after a brief illness at Markham Stouffville Hospital on June 17, 2018 in her 90^th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Kenneth and sister Mildred. Devoted mother to Mark (Linda) and Roger. Caring Grandma of Vernon. Will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Marjorie, cousins Lois, Marie, and Grace, and many loving extended family members and friends.  The family would like to thank the staff at Buckingham Manor for Dorothy’s happy stay there over the past 2 years. A visitation will be held at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. N. (Markham Rd.), Markham on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 7-9pm and an hour before the Celebration of Life in the Chapel on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Living York South.
