It is with profound sadness that I mourn the passing of my beloved Aunt Connie. When I was a child and Aunt Connie was in her 20's, before she married Uncle Maury, we all lived together above the family owned fruit market at 901 Pape Ave; my grandparents (Antonio and Antonina,) my parents (Rose and Bill,) my Aunt Connie and me, her first nephew.
She was young, pretty, stylish, gregarious and above all, happy. Being the youngest of three siblings she was able to break free from many of the antiquated rules of her strict Sicilian upbringing and forge a new path for herself and for those of us who followed.
Aunt Connie had many friends and was very social. She played Bridge and tennis and enjoyed music and dancing. She was independent, hard-working, strong willed and loyal to a fault. She could effortlessly lift the spirits of everyone around her while remaining loving and true to her closest friends. In my little world, she was the best!
I was inspired, taught, influenced, shamefully spoiled and loved by my Aunt Connie; she has been there my whole life, encouraging and supporting me without question. You will be dearly missed.
Dear Aunt Connie, this is how I choose to remember you, these are my fondest memories. I will always love you and you will always be in my heart. wherever you are, may God bless you and keep you....

My condolences to the family on the passing of Connie. I knew Connie for many years at St. Patrick's Church. We worked together as Eucharistic Ministers and Wedding Coordinators. She was a lovely lady with a sense of humour and a joy to work with. We also did Meals on Wheels and I went on many lunches with her after we finished our work. She will be greatly missed.
Regards Carol

Connie's passing is both a tragedy for the family and a blessing for her. As her neighbour for 21 years, we have very fond memories of her at our get-togethers. Her bright smile and happy disposition were always as welcome as her baking! She was a fixture on Sir Bodwin Place and will be missed!

Dear Michael and Diane,
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your mother. She had such a warm and friendly personality - I always enjoyed seeing her at family gatherings. It's sad to see the end of that generation on the Weaver side.
Take care,
Rosanne

It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of our long time neighbor and friend Connie. I reflect on the many great visits we have had at Christmas gatherings and neighborhood parties. I remember the drives to Waterloo to visit our friends and when we learned that Connie also had good friends in Waterloo,we were able to share the trip. Connie always showed interest in our daughters and what they were doing. It was a pleasure to know such a wonderful lady. My family and I send our sincere condolences to Michael and Diane and please know that we are thinking of you at this sad time.

I was very sad to hear of Aunt Connie’s passing.
I have good memories of Connie. She was genuine and always smiling.
To say I know what you’re going through sounds cliche, but it’s not.
I will be making a donation to The Kidney Foundation.
