Obituary of William Harold Collett

COLLETT William –

Passed away peacefully on Friday April 6 2018 at the age of 92. Beloved husband to Margaret for 68 wonderful years. Cherished father to Stephen , Jeffrey (Janine), Susan (Gordon) Davidson, and Catherine (Chuck) Miller. Loving grandpa to Chris, James, Kristina, Jacqui, Jared, and Kayla. GG to Eryk and Wyatt. Proud uncle of David, Mark, Carrie, Denise and Beth.  Predeceased by his siblings Jack, Elaine and Gord (Tina). William was an avid golfer and curler at Thornhill Golf and Country Club. Past Master and district secretary of Simcoe Lodge district 7. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Vanessa and Staff at Woodhaven (Markham Section) for their wonderful care.  Friends and family will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street North Markham (Markham Rd) on Monday April 9^th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial service to take place Tuesday at 12 noon in the chapel. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations made to The Foundation for Fighting Blindness or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
