I'm sorry to hear about your family's loss. I don't believe I ever had the pleasure of meeting Elsie McDowell, although we may be related.
My name is Greg McDowell, and I live in Clarington, which is located near Oshawa-Whitby just east of Toronto.
I have been doing some genealogy work on the McDowell name and I was wondering if any of the family members has, too? I'm related to many McDowells in the Brantford and St. George area and, of course, throughout Ontario, New York and beyond.
