Obituary of Eulah Jean Williamson

WILLIAMSON, Eulah Jean (nee Brillinger)

On February 24, 2018 Eulah left us in her 102nd year.  Eulah, beloved wife of the late John Williamson (October 14, 2007), daughter of the late Harry and Erla Brillinger of Stouffville, sister of the late Claude Brillinger of Ridgetown, aunt of the late Claudia Fournier of Brockville, aunt of the late John Nolan of Fort Erie and sister-in-law of the late Innis Nolan, her dear friend and companion, survived by niece Sharon Babcock of Orangeville and Lynda Woodbridge of Bath, England.  For over 25 years Eulah was the human voice of Markham Hydro who responded to power outages, billing errors, downed power lines in such a manner that she was known and loved by all Markham Hydro customers during those times.  An avid skater, patron of Cedar Arena, a hockey and curling fan who enjoyed a good game of Bridge until recently.  Eulah and her late husband John, were staunch supporters of St. Andrew`s United Church, Markham, loved to travel together and entertain those they met on those travels.  Eulah will be fondly remembered by family and those few who remain who were fortunate enough to cross her path.  Special thanks to Marg and John Chapman who assumed the major responsibility for Eulah`s care in later years as well as the caring staff of Markhaven.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2nd, 2018 at St. Andrew’s United Church, 32 Main Street North, Markham, Ontario L3P 1X5, with the reception immediately following.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew`s United Church, Markham.  May flights of Angels sing thee to thy well deserved rest.
