Obituary of Margaret V. Dey

On Monday February 12, in Port Perry, Ontario, Margaret Victoria Dey passed away peacefully in her 96th year to be reunited with her beloved husband, William James Dey, with whom she shared 57 wonderful years.

Fiercely independent until just three months ago, Margaret’s life was filled with love, good friends and

adventure as she and her husband Bill explored the world.

She loved her summers on Georgian Bay, winters in Florida, her favourite spot on Lake Scugog, the Blue

Jays and a good card game.

Margaret was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Bill, in 1999. She is survived by her two

children and their spouses: Pat (Dave) Lizon and Doug (Maureen) Dey; three loving grandchildren, Todd

(Lisa) Lizon, Chad (Kathy) Lizon and Tricia (Jon) Jarvie and six great grandchildren, Cassidy, Jordyn and

Mackenzie Lizon, Emily and Aidan Jarvie and Riley Lizon.
