My deepest sympathy to all of Susans family and friends. I first met Susan when I went to Grade 1 at the school in Altona. I was nervous and when the bell rang for class I went and hid behind a bush near the steps and did not go it to the school. Susan saw me do that and she kindly came and got me and took me by the hand and reassured me and walked with me into the school. That same scenario played out for a few days and Susan was so patient and loving to me. I remember fun sleep overs at her home and that she was lots of fun to be around. I will always remember Susan as a kind, loving, beautiful person who was lots of fun, loved her family and God passionately and was a hard worker and brave and caring of others. I feel honoured to have had Susan for a dear friend and will always remember her and treasure the memories. I pray for God to comfort her family. You are in my prayers, hold your memories close. Susan, you are now in the presence of your Saviour, Jesus and we will meet again. <3

Richard and I are very sorry to hear about the passing of Susan this week. I always enjoyed our stimulating conversations and Richard certainly has a soft spot for the time spent together at Northern Gate. Such a great loss. Susan was always looking after everyone- she was always prepared to help others even during her latest battle. A life taken too young but will never be forgotten.
