Obituary of Greig Brown

Brown, Greig In his 83rd year, Greig passed into the everlasting peace and joy of his Saviour and Lord on Wednesday, December 25, 2013. He is survived by Ruth, his dearly loved and devoted wife of 51 years and their two married children, Allan (Erin), Markham and Allison van Staden (Christian), Ottawa. Grandchildren Cameron, Michael, Avery and Sadie were a constant joy to Greig. He is survived by his loving sisters Barbara Greer (Jim) and Beverly Jones (Denys) of Brantford. Greig retired from the Bank of Montreal after 46 years of service. Family and service in various Christian organizations including his church largely occupied his personal time. Friends may call at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N, Markham. Visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Friday, January 3, 2014. Memorial service on Saturday January 4th at 2:30 pm with visitation one hour prior to the service. A private interment will have taken place at York Cemetery.
