Obituary of Gordon Bayes

BAYES, Gordon - Gordy unexpectedly passed away in his 78th year on Saturday, September 21, 2013, following surgery at Sunnybrook Hospital. Son of the late John and Hazel Bayes of Markham, brother of John (Shirley) of Toronto, Jim (Pat) of Port Elgin and Nora Edwards (Ken) of Toronto. Remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Gord was a lifelong resident of Markham and an employee of Markville Chevrolet, formerly Conlin Motors, for more than 50 years. Friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, on Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, September 27, at 10 a.m. with a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gordy's memory to a charity of your choice, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
