LEGERE, Viola Yvonne (nee Bastarache) - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Viola on Monday, September 9th, 2013 at the age of 88. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 70 years, Laurie. Beloved mother of Annette (Leon), Ron and Gerry (Kim). Dear nanny of Rhonda, Colleen (Lane), Michael (Ryan), Robert, Craig (Fiona) and Kristin. Cherished great-grandmother of Logan, Brooke and Bryson. Family and friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Patrick's Parish, 5633 Highway #7, Markham, on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
