Obituary of Elmer Presland

PRESLAND, Elmer - 95 years young, lived his life fully until Sept 2, 2013 where he came to rest in his lords loving arms. He was a devoted war vet, and Normandy survivor. Elmer also had a love for flying airplanes. His gentle and kind soul warmed the hearts of everyone he touched. Elmer would think life should not be a journey to heaven with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body but rather to skid in sideways, ice cream in hand, body thoroughly used up and worn out , praising and thanking the lord for such a wonderful ride with a lifetime full of amazing experiences! His partner in crime and devoted wife Lori, is profoundly saddened yet eternally bound by loving happy goofy memories! Elmer will always be greatly missed by loved by Doreen & CJ; Lynn & Jake, Amy, his best buds Art & Johnboy, and the rest of the great crew at Cedar Beach.
