Dear Burtch Family, I am so sorry to hear of the tragic passing of Jake. . I never had the pleasure of meeting Jake, who I have only been able to hear about through my daughter Macki Trimper. By all accounts he was a wonderful friend to all who ALWAYS had a smile on his face. A smile sounds like such a simple thing, but to Jakes friends that was what truly stood out about him and what made them just feel better to be around him. Jake has in turn touched my life from hearing story after story of a young man who not only loved life, but also his friends and family.
