It has truly been a blessing to have had Al in our lives. Living next door to him for so many years, we became friends and not just neighbours. It was like having our grandfather living next door. We are going to miss his infectious laugh, chats over the fence, his Christmas cards with notes on how the previous year has been, and the gifts of fresh veggies from his garden each summer. Most of all, we will miss walking outside and just knowing that he is there. Al has enriched both of our lives immensely. He was my one of my biggest supporters over the past 8 months while I recovered from my accident, reminding me often that I can get through anything. Briarwood Road will never be the same. Roslyn, Susanne and Shannon, and your families, please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your Dad, father-in-law, and Grampa. He will live on in our hearts....never to be forgotten.

We are very saddened by the loss of our dear Uncle Al. He was a genuine person who loved life and everyone around him. He was always interested in what you were doing and how you were. He lived by the highest standards and family was the number one priority. We will always remember his infectious laugh and and love of life. Rest in peace, Uncle Al....

To the Craig family: When we received the message from Gina Craig we were so shocked and saddened. Alan was a big part of our lives. We are so proud to be related to Alan and were always happy to say he made a point to come to all our family functions. We always felt that Alan was the Glue that kept us connected to the Craig family. Alan was a very kind and gentle soul and will miss him dearly.
