Carson, Jack. WWII Veteran- 5th Canadian Armoured Division- Signals Peacefully at Amica Swan Lake on April 26, 2013 in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Joy and son Graham. Devoted partner of Audrey Van Luven. Loving father of Lesley and Fred Ast and Ginny and Rod Beaton. Will be remembered by daughters in law Geraldine and Cindy. Cherished Papa of Lindsay (Kyle), Vanessa (Andrew), Kaitlin, Lauren (Sam), Melanie (Dean), Jennifer (Sean), Graham (Anne), Nick, Luke (Ashley), Heather (Steve), Andy (Carly), Laura (Chris), Ashley (Cole), Jessica (Jeff) and Emily. Great Grandfather of Abigail, Luke, Callie, Bea(accent please), Carson, Maeve, Fiona, Harlan, Isabella, Jack and Jordan. Friends will be received at DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME 166 Main St. North (Markham Rd.) Markham on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Service will be held on May 2ND at Grace Anglican Church 19 Parkway Ave, Markham (L3P 2E9) at 11:30 am. Reception to follow. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army or Alzheimer's Society.
