STEPHEN LAW peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Markham Stouffville Hospital surrounded by family and friends at the age of 57 after a valiant battle with Melanoma. Beloved husband of Antonia ('Toni') Law (nee Vieira), proud father of Stephanie, loving son of Shirley, preceded by his father Ralph ('Bud'), and cherished brother of Bruce and his wife Susan, he will forever be remembered in their hearts. This great loss will be felt by his mother-in-law Lilia Vieira, and deeply missed by in-laws Pat and her husband John, Bern, and Leo, nephews and nieces Francesco, Nicholas, Christina, Gianluca, Olivia, Rachel, and Marcus. He will be held dear in the hearts of his extended families and friends. We would like to make mention of Steve's many friends from Hewlett Packard/Compaq/Tandem where he worked for over 30 years. He was a passionate craftsman, avid angler and the "go to MacGyver" for any renovation or restoration project. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Mateya Trinkaus and the staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME 166 Main Street North (Markham Road), Markham on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 2-4pm and 7-8pm with Funeral Service to follow at 8-9pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
