ALEXANDER Doreen Gertrude –

Passed away unexpectedly  at Southlake Regional Health Centre Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the age of 76. Recently predeceased by her loving husband Gary.  Cherished Mother of Ray (Debbie), Ken (Rebecca), predeceased by her two children Jim (2007) and Teresa (2017). Beloved Nana to Joshua, Melissa, Kevin (Kobryn), Amanda, Ashley, and Mathew. Great Nana to Olivia. Loyal employee to the York Downs Golf & Country Club. Life-long fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, avid softball player and bowler. Long-time Unionville resident.  Friends and Family will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME  166 Main Street North (Markham Rd) Markham on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Saturday, December 30th at 12 noon. Reception to follow. Burial at Stouffville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Ontario Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
