Obituary of Margaret Mary Philpott

PHILPOTT Margaret -

Margaret passed away on December 14^th, 2017 at Markham Stouffville Hospital at the age of 95. Loving wife of the late James Philpott, Devoted mother to Edward (Suzie), Tom (Parin), Douglas, and Ken (Kathryn). Caring Grandmother to Robert (Trish) , Adam , Jason and MacKenzie . Loving Great-Grandmother to Lucy. She loved telling stories of childhood and letting us know of our roots. She instilled values and made sure her family was in a loving environment. She enjoyed cooking big meals and making desserts for the family get together. She and her late husband Jim where avid gardeners. They made sure their children had fresh vegetables and fruits. And in the fall Margaret would be preserving for the winter months. The flower beds would also be full of colors spring to summer months. Visitation will take place at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. N., Markham on Sunday, December 17th from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral to be held at St. Justin Martyr Parish , 3898 Highway No. 7 East, Unionville, ON L3R 1L3 on Monday,  December 18th at 10:30  a.m. followed by Interment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
