I am so very saddened by the sudden loss of Lesley. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. She was such a lovely person - so quick to laugh, to buy the champagne, to put on the sombrero! She always made get togethers at the Simpson/Mcpake household fun - except when I was her Euchre partner and playing badly! She was very competitive :) . So generous of spirit and heart, she will be missed tremendously and remembered always. Bye for now Les, xx

As a colleague of Lesley's, I will remember her cheerfulness as we greeted each new day, crossing paths in the parking lot, and as former neighbours in Oshawa. She demonstrated the Core Values of the Toronto Police Service and this earned her the respect from both peers and supervisors. She was a laudable team player with many contributions to the community she served; fair and easy to approach. My heartfelt condolences to Carolyn, John, Joan and extended family; such a tremendous loss to both family and the Parking Unit.

It saddens me greatly to hear of Lesleys passing. I have fond memories of the
short time I spent with you and your family when yous lived in Colonial Acres. Leslie was such a kind and caring soul. A good person......like her brother.
