Obituary of Doreen Mount

Mount, Doreen Amelia It is with heavy hearts and watery eyes that we announce the passing of our wonderful mother, Doreen Mount (nee Pearse) after a brief battle with cancer. Mom, in her 83rd year, was surrounded by, and leaves behind, her 4 boys: Steven (Nancy), Cameron (Darlene), Gary (Lisa), and Neil (Stephanie), 7 grandchildren: Derek (Aseye) and Amy Myles (Johnny), Curtis (Melissa) and Jordan, Jacob (Stephanie) and Sarah Kellington (Ben), and Elana, plus 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased (2001) by her husband Clyde. Thanks to Orchard Villa, Pickering, and especially Yakelin and Jordan, for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 20 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St N, Markham. Family graveside service will be held on Friday, September 22 at 10:30am at Erskin Cemetery, Finch Ave, Pickering. Celebration of Life Service to follow at 1pm at Heritage United Church, 7046 11th Conc. Markham. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Church would be appreciated.
