John Chipperfield, our dear husband, father and grandad died peacefully at home on May 28 th , 2026. John was a devoted and loving husband to Lorraine, his wife of 53 years and a cherished father to Andrew, Julie, his son in law Shawn and Grandad to Jessica and Chelsea who brought him immense pride and joy. He is also lovingly remembered by his sisters Kathy (Eric), Gail (Gene), Diane (Jerry), and sister-in-law Nancy and brother-in-law Ric, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

John was predeceased by his parents, Evelyn and Frederick Chipperfield, his mother and father-in-law James and Margaret Kidd, and also by his sister-in-law Betty.

John will be remembered for his determination, his organizational skills, his strong work ethic and most importantly his loyalty to his family and friends. He had a quiet but steadfast way he showed his love. He leaves behind a legacy of devotion, generosity, and care that will continue to be felt by all who knew him.

His passions included sports, gardening, watercolour painting, puzzles, trains, car racing, bridge, travelling and spending time with family.

As a hardworking entrepreneur, he spent much of his career in the transportation and logistics industry. With the help of his business partners, he opened and successfully ran Rodair International Ltd. He was a member of the C.I.T.T. board and devoted many hours volunteering, most notably with Holiday Helpers.

A celebration of life will take place on Friday, June 19 th at Spring Lakes Golf Club,

4962 Stouffville Rd. Whitchurch - Stouffville, ON from 2:00p.m. - 4:00p.m.

Though we mourn his passing, we give thanks for his life, for the love he shared, and for the many memories he leaves behind.
