Aniceto Rex Bacalso Obituary
With profound sadness, the family of Aniceto Rex Bacalso announces his passing on May 26, 2026, at Mount Sinai Hospital. Born on June 7, 1972, Rex lived a life marked by freedom, spontaneity, deep loyalty, humor, and enduring love for his family and those fortunate enough to know him.
Rex will be remembered as a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence brought laughter, joy and wavering support to those around him. He possessed a generous spirit and a compassionate heart, offering kindness freely.
He leaves behind his beloved mother, Judith; his siblings, Joanna and Sonny. Her husband Matthew, along with their children, Jordan and his wife, Erin, and their daughter, Malou, as well as Bronson and Trenton; and Sonny's children, Joshua and Tao, and his wife, Tamara, and their children, Dios Koro and Lorianna Remi. Rex is also lovingly remembered by his stepfather, Eduardo, and his stepsister, Marisse.
Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, Rex’s memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love carried forward by his family and friends. His life touched many, and his spirit will remain forever woven into the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate doctors, nurses, and staff at Mount Sinai Hospital for their care and support during his final days.
May he rest in eternal peace and be forever remembered with love.
