Patricia Maud Emily Preston (nee. Ross) of Stouffville, Ontario

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend passed away peacefully at

Markham Stouffville hospital after a brief illness; on May 12, 2026, at age 89.

Pat was born on October 12, 1936, in Leslieville, ON. She took great pride in raising her two

sons, was a skilled artist, award winning baker, gardener and an avid reader. She enjoyed

travelling and was a member of the Anglican Church; where she found great comfort and joy.

She will be remembered for her generosity and kindness and her butter tarts.

Patricia is survived, by her sons William and Brian (Nicole), and her pride and joy grandsons

Tyler and Christopher (Valery). She was preceded in death by her husband William Preston and

her parents Hector and Winnifred Ross.

She will be dearly missed by her whole family including a very large extended family, friends

and congregation.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday May 20 th , 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dixon

Garland Funeral home in Markham. Funeral service to be held Thursday, May 21 st , 2026, at

11:00 AM followed by a light reception at Dixon Garland Funeral home.
